Goddess
Just to be honest,
In this moment I won't be modest
I am a goddess
Don't get me wrong
I'm smart but not the smartest
Pretty but not the prettiest
I play and sing but only just
But I can write words that make you sigh
And sculpt a dream that holds the eye
And I dance because the music won't stay inside
And I know the truth that life is a flow you have to ride
Through death and pain
Hate, violence, and shame
Carried by the love of family and friends
I am here, my heart and soul unbroken
And while I'm not an angel
I am kind in deeds and words
With no need for rewards
And as I tease and flirt
I try to never cause hurt
I do my best, hoping that other people's lives
Can be a little bit better because I tried
I learned the key to loving life
Is not a matter of time, events, or circumstance
It is to simply let it flow and just fucking dance
And just to be honest
In this moment I won't be modest
I am a mother fucking goddess
